Below you will find various implementations of the ZaphodsMap Configuration System.

TNativeXml Component

In the Delphi implementation, the TZaphodsMap and TZaphodsMapSetup components have been built with TNativeXml, an easy to use xml class which compiles for win32, .net and linux. HREF Tools Corp. has permission to distribute TNativeXml.

As of September 2010, TNativeXml is open-source, with premium support available for a fee from the author.

ZaphodsMap.pas

The TZaphodsMap component in ZaphodsMap.pas gives any Delphi or Kylix application the ability to easily load and save configuration values.

ZaphodsMapSetup.pas

A separate component, TZaphodSetup in ZaphodsMapSetup.pas, is available for use during software installation. It has utility methods for creating and deleting keyboxes, adding keygroups, maintaining keys, etc.

The methods on this component are designed to prevent accidental destruction of anyone's existing configuration system.
